This year as well, Vibha India proposes to bring in exciting speakers from various organizations who will share there ideas and knowledge with our partner projects . In addition, Pragati also serves as a means to inform, share knowledge and build capacity of partner projects on various internal processes and procedures.

President's Message

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you all to Pragati 2017!

Vibha has completed 26 very exciting, fruitful and fulfilling years in working towards her vision of a better world for children especially those from disadvantaged and underserved communities.

It has been a quarter century made up of many hours willingly volunteered by so many individuals in Vibha across the USA and in India – all for being able to give back to society, especially children ; through the support in seeding, growing and scaling up stellar grass root organizations working hard to bring about a lasting positive change in the lives of children from disadvantaged circumstances.

Vibha is proud to be and have been associated with over 250 such organizations since inception, whom we have helped to scale their work and increase their outreach to over 300,000 children.

We have not only provided vital financial support, but have also invested significant reso urces in building capacity of partners in areas which could be of imminent help in doing what they do, even better! A lot of support is provided in the form of regular interactions between Vibha and partners, visits to the projects, business modelling, working with all stake holders including the government, advice, suggestions and recommendations for improvement and so much more which may or may not be visible to many.

But then there are some very visible and very intensively planned activities such as workshops and trainings. The singular most important event we plan every two years, is the Pragati conference, of which, Pragati 2017 is the fifth in the series.

A great deal of thought and effort goes into planning this conference, so that it becomes a vibrant platform for unlearning ,learning , connecting, sharing and leveraging our collective experiences and knowledge as well as the exciting new ideas and thinking which we bring to you through interesting speakers with tremendous knowledge, new concepts and ideas.

This year too we have a great line up of very interesting speakers whose experiences you will enjoy listening to and interacting with.

Welcome once again! I look forward to some great interactions!
